On June the 12th, Point England School had a very special assembly. This is going to be all about our principal Mr Burt and Mrs Burt. Mr Burt got a special award from the Queen, the Queen Of England.
Mr Burt is the kindest person in the world. He helps people and pays for camp and other cool actives. He always does our needs before he does his needs.
That why we (Pt England School + Staff) wanted to make this a very special day for him.
He didn’t know that we were doing this. It was going to be a surprise for him. We sang a waiata (song) for Mr Burt and Mrs Burt.
Then boys did an amazing haka for Mr and Mrs Burt. Some people joined in the haka as well.
We had some special people who came to say a speech for Mr Burt and even the prefects stepped in to say something special.
